Payment
Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment is required at the time of service.
Insurance
Dr. Gamboa is not a participating provider on any insurance panels. However, if you have a PPO insurance plan, you may receive reimbursement depending on your out-of-network provider benefits. Because coverage will vary based on your plan, it is recommended you call your insurance provider and ask the following questions prior to your first appointment:
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified Dr. Gamboa at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist and information cannot be disclosed without written permission. Exceptions include:

- Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The therapist is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, the therapist must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
- If a client intends to harm himself or herself, the therapist will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, the therapist may take further measures without their permission that are provided by law in order to ensure their safety.
